Jalil Ghalamghash

Ph.D in Geology 

Jalil Ghalamghash is a seasoned Exploration Geologist and Chartered Geologist with extensive experience in geological mapping, exploration projects, and research initiatives. Currently serving as a Research Associate Professor at the Geological Survey of Iran-Research Institute of Earth Sciences, he has played pivotal roles in supervising magmatic and metallogenic research projects, monitoring environmental issues, and completing geological maps on various scales. With a master’s degree in Geology/Earth Science from Shahid Beheshti University, Jalil has demonstrated his expertise in project management, communication, and fieldwork, contributing significantly to the successful execution of exploration projects and the publication of numerous geological maps and reports.

Throughout his career, Jalil has led multiple geological departments, managed exploration and geohazard projects, and consulted mining companies on exploration initiatives. He has also conducted extensive research on igneous rocks and ore deposits, supervising numerous students and researchers and publishing his findings in peer-reviewed papers and geological books. His greatest professional achievement includes spearheading a National Geological Mapping project on a scale of 1:25,000, showcasing his leadership and coordination skills in driving impactful geological initiatives.
