Majid Nemati

Ph.D in Geophysics

I am Professor of Department of Geology, Faculty of Science and Head of Earthquake Research Center in Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. My job reputations were in Coal mines of Tabas, Iran; Geological Survey of Iran (in Geochemical and Seismotectonics groups) and Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. I studied Geophysics in Institute of Geophysics, the University of Tehran (MsC and PhD, 2010) and mine engineering (BSc, 1996) in Isfahan University of Technology.

I could arrange your local and regional seismological networks acquis the earthquake data including waveforms. Moreover, I could help you in your exploration geophysical projects: Geomagnetism, Geoelectic, Gravimetry and exploration seismology.

I passed the “Installing and working with Guralp Medium Band seismometers” training course, 2006, in Guralp LTD, in Reading, England. My researches are mostly on Seismotectonics, Seismology and Exploration Geophysics (110 research papers) in Iran. The projects which I was included in are: “Seismic micro zoning (micro tremor) of Mashhad city (2004)” in Geological Survey of Iran; “Oil discovery by seam mapping method of Mishan anticline in Gachsaran area” (1995) in Isfahan University of Technology; Irainian-Italian international project entitled “Exploration of meteorites in Lut desert in east of Iran” (2016) in Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and University of Florence, Italy.
